It is SO over!Well, for those of you that do not know, I'll get the big stuff out of the way first. I was seperated from my wife for nearly a year. It became too much with her trying to suck my bank account dry and not wanting to do anything to have any type of partnership atmosphere. It was basically; ME: (coming home at about midnight having left for work at 10am) "So, how was your day?" HER: "Good." ME: "What did you do today?" HERE: "Used the computer." ME: "Uhhh... Only?" HER: "No, I watched TV and went shopping. Oh yeah, my parents said you should pay some more money for food." ME: "They did? I ate here twice last week and I gave them $600 for the whole month." HER: "I know, but they want it." ME: "OK, let me talk to your mother and I'll give her a little more." HER: "Oh no, it's OK! Just give it to me and I'll give it to them." <two days later> MAILMAN: "Here's your package!" ME: "How did you get that big box of makeup? Did you spend the money I gave you?" HER: "No, I used my racetrack money." Yeah, she worked at the horse racing track hitting the elevator buttons 7 hours a day 13 days of the year. She had packages of books, magazines, makeup, herbal supplements, accessories and/or clothes arriving 2 or 3 times a week every week. Damn that money went far. By the way, the 2 million yen she got from me was no where to be found. I'm not even going to bother with all the other stories. Suffice to say that with her changing everything after getting married, I didn't want to be a part of that anymore. We ended up seperating and I found a new girlfriend. Things have been really great with her! Or, as great as can be expected with a greedy wife stalking me in the background. We went through the divorce process. It's the stupidest process ever here. Basically, they asked why I wanted to get divorced. I said that we had spoken about having children before we were married and then one month after we were married she said she changed her mind. The mediator said that wasn't a good reason. I said that She said she would get a real job and help out so we could save money. The mediator said that wasn't a good reason. I said 2 million yen disappeared! The mediator said she's my wife and should manage the money... I pulled out the big guns, I didn't want to, I had to! I told him that I had had sex with my wife a total of 4 times in a year and a half. He said that was not so good, but he was sure it was more than that. Thank for the impartial beginning to the process dick. Then it was her turn. She said OH, it's TERRIBLE! I love him so much, I can't believe he would break our relationship like this. BOOHOO. And the mediator said That son of a bitch. Let's make him give you a shitload of money for your troubles. Yeah, thanks for that jackass! Good news: I'm officially divorced! Bad news, I have to pay 2million more yen (that I don't have) over the next two years. It may not seem like much (it's about $20,000) but, we have a baby on the way. Our boy Ryu is due December 11th! It's too bad that I had to go through so much crap in order to find a winner, I'll tell you that. However, Ai and I both look at it this way, if it weren't for Mizue, we would have never met. Soi, thanks Mizue! I mean, thanks for being a dirty, thieving greedy bitch. I hope you read this, I really do. Yeah, I'm still bitter. Now that I think about it I would like to add one little anecdote from the divorce that I think really sums up my entire situation here. It took over half a year from actually filing the paperwork to actually making some kind of progress. Throughout the entire thing Mizue kept claiming how terrible I was to break the relationship and how much she wanted to fix it because of the commitments that we had made. I kept trying to tell the mediator that it was all a lie and she really just wanted money, but the guy wouldn't have it. Finally, in the paperwork just to prove a point, i had my lawyer say that she needed to return the rings. Bear in mind she had not agreed to a divorce yet because of her deep and endless love for me. OH THAT'S RIGHT! SHE SOLD THE RINGS AS SOON AS WE SEPERATED! Still this moronic mediator won't see it. He says that she obviously needed the money. What happend to the missing 2 million yen? He said that it wasn't the point of our divorce. Yeah, I hope he gets hit by a steamroller... A really, really slow steamroller. That's a lie. I really hope for something even worse. I hope she marries him next. Anyway, I'm sure that everyone is thinking now that getting married would be the last thing on my mind. And you're right. Well, you were right. I wasn't thinking of getting married at all actually. But, with Ryu on the way, there is no way that I will just stay with Ai as boyfriend forever. Especially not with ridiculous Japanese laws saying that if you aren't married, it's not really your kid. Screw that! So yeah, we are going to be married in a couple of days probably. I certainly want to do it before Ryu comes so we can be a real family. I'm sure many people are disappointed in some of the decisions I made in my life so far, frankly I am too, but I just know things are on the right track now!!! |
